Week of July 24th-29th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)

Site 1 will have street work done by ConEd this weekend into next week on Broome Street and Ludlow Street. Deliveries will be brought to the site throughout the week on Essex Street.  Fit out work for the interior of the residential building from the 3rd floor through the 11th floor is on-going. Work will occur on Saturday, July 29th.


Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)

Site 2's superstructure concrete program will continue for the next few months.  Concrete pours will be scheduled throughout the week as needed and may occur into the evening hours as permitted. Interior mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) fit-out will continue in cellar and MEP risers have begun to be installed through the 6th floor.  Spray fire-proofing, paint and masonry will continue throughout floors 1 - 7. Interior framing layout and install will begin next week on the 2nd floor and continue its way up the building.   Work will continue on Saturday, July 29th.  


Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)

The upcoming week's work at Site 5 includes façade storefront and glass installation at Broome Street, residential lobby, and Clinton Street; rebar, formwork, and concrete work on Broome Street park and 3rd floor terrace; perimeter wall finish framing, insulation, hydronic piping, and heating and air conditioning system installation. Final sheet rocking is ongoing from 3rd - 15th floors. Cabinetry installation continues on 8-10th floors. Remaining windows to be installed on 4th floor to finish. Façade metal panel installation is ongoing on 8th-9th floors, as well as scaffold removal from the 11th floor down. ConEd interconnection work will begin on Wednesday, July 26th. Elevator installation work continues for freight, service, and passenger elevators.   General construction work will occur on Saturday, July 29th from 9am to 5pm.       


Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)

The coming week's activity at Site 6 includes storefront & stone installation at the 1st floor. Interior fit-out work continues from the cellar to the 14th floor. Roofing and miscellaneous metal work will continue on the 4th and 5th floor terraces. The sidewalk on Delancey Street will be closed from Friday, July 21st to Monday, July 31st and will reopen on Tuesday, August 1st. A temporary sidewalk will be provided on Delancey street for that duration. During the closure, the construction fence will be permanently removed and curbs & sidewalks will be replaced. Work will continue on Saturday July 29th from 9am to 5pm.
