Weekly Construction Updates: May 8th-13th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will continue vault work throughout the week on Broome Street. Vault installation will continue through Saturday, May 13th using a crane on Broome Street. Both lanes of traffic will be closed during this time period. No other site deliveries are scheduled for this week.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel at the 5th and 6th floors.  Steel deliveries will occur throughout the week sporadically. Concrete pours are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 10th and Friday, May 12th.  Spray fireproofing will continue at 1M and 2nd floor.  Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work will continue throughout the sub-cellar, cellar, and ground floor. Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue at the cellar and ground floor. The hoist on Delancey Street is operational and will be jumped sporadically to keep pace with the vertical construction of the building.  Backfill operations will continue.  Work will continue Saturday, May 13th. Service connections to the building will begin on May 11th during nighttime hours in which street closures will be in place on Broome Street.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of the exterior walls on the ground floor. Structural canopy steel installation finishing up at the residential entry. Storefront installation to begin. Carpentry work includes hung ceiling framing from 11th-15th floor, sheet rocking on floors 3 and 15. Lobby fit out and fit out of cellar retail space is ongoing. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues on floors 3 and 15. Gypcrete pouring continues on 12-13th  floors. Remaining Sub-frame and window installation from 10th-15th floors is ongoing. Façade Metal panel installation ongoing on 14th-15th floor.  Metal façade panel installation starting on 15th floor. Elevator installation work continues for retail, freight, and passenger elevators.  General construction work will occur on Saturday, May 13th from 9am to 5pm.
 Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes storefront installation on the 1st floor Broome Street elevation. Interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from the cellar to he 14th floor. Roofing work will continue on the 4th and 5th terraces. ConEd will continue valut work on Broome Street sidewalks within the site fence. Work will continue on Saturday, May 13th from 9am-5pm
