Weekly Construction Updates: May 22nd-27th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will have a crane on Essex Street on Monday. Deliveries will be taken on site from Broome Street. Weekend work is anticipated. Flag persons are scheduled for street work as needed for traffic and pedestrians.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel at the 6th and 7th floors.  Steel deliveries will occur throughout the week sporadically. Concrete pours are tentatively scheduled for Monday, May 22nd and Friday, May 26th.   Spray fireproofing will continue at the 2nd and 3rd floor.  Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work will continue throughout the sub-cellar, cellar and ground floor. Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue at the cellar through 2nd floor. The hoist on Delancey Street is operational and will be jumped sporadically to keep pace with the vertical construction of the building.  Backfill and waterproofing operations will continue on the south and west sides of the site.  Work will continue Saturday, May 27th. Service connections to the building will continue throughout the week on Broome street which will remain open to vehicular traffic.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brickwork and waterproofing of the exterior walls on the ground floor. Structural canopy steel installation will be finishing up at the residential entry. Storefront installation to begin. Carpentry work includes hung ceiling framing from 11th-15th floor, sheet rocking on floors 3 and 15. Lobby fit our and fit out of cellar retail space is ongoing. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues on floors 3 and 15. Gypcrete pouring continues on 12-13th  floors. Remaining sub-frame and window installation from 10th-15th floors is ongoing. Façade metal panel installation ongoing on 14th-15th floor.  Metal façade panel installation starting on 13-14 floors. Elevator installation work continues for retail, freight, and passenger elevators.  General construction work will occur on Saturday, May 27th  from 9am to 5pm.
 Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes storefront installation on the 1st floor Broome Street elevation. Interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from the cellar to the 14th floor. Roofing work will continue on the 4th and 5th floor terraces. Work will continue on Saturday, May 27th from 9am-5pm.
