Weekly Construction Updates: May 1st-6th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will continue vault work throughout the week on Broome Street. Vault installation is expected to take place on Saturday, May 6th using a crane on Broome Street. Both lanes of traffic will be closed during this time period. No other site deliveries are scheduled for this week.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel at the 5th and 6th floors.  Steel deliveries will occur throughout the week sporadically. Concrete pours are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 3rd and Friday, May 5th.  Spray fireproofing will continue at ground level and level 1.  Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work will continue throughout the sub-cellar, cellar, and ground floor. Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue at the cellar and ground floor. The hoist on Delancey Street is operational and will be jumped sporadically to keep pace with the vertical construction of the building.  Backfill operations will continue.  Work will continue Saturday, May 6th.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of the exterior walls at the 1st floor, miscellaneous carpentry work throughout and sheet rocking on 3,7,11,15. Lobby fit out and fit out of cellar retail space is ongoing. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues on floors 3,7,11 and 15. Gypcrete pouring continues on 12-14th  floors. Sub-frame and window installation continues throughout as scaffolding bracing allows. Metal façade panel installation starting on 15th floor.  Retail and residential canopy and storefront is ongoing. Elevator installation work continues for retail, freight, and passenger elevators.  General construction work will occur on Saturday, May 6th from 9am to 5pm.
 Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work from the cellar to the 14th floor. Roofing work will continue on the 4th and 5th terraces.  ConEd will continue vault work on Broome Street sidewalks within the site fence.  Work will continue on Saturday, May 6th from 9am to 5pm.
