Weekly Construction Updates: March 27th-April 1st

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will be pouring concrete on Wednesday, March 29th on Broome Street. A crane will be on Broome Street Monday, March 27th, Tuesday, March 28th and Friday, March 31st. Curtainwall deliveries will arrive on Broome Street on Monday, March 27th and Tuesday, March 28th. A crane will be on Essex Street throughout the week.  Work is anticipated on Saturday, April 1st. Flag persons will be directing pedestrians and traffic as needed.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel at the 4th and 5th floors.  Steel deliveries will occur throughout the week sporadically. A concrete pour is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 30th.   Spray fireproofing will continue in the cellar level and the mechanical, electrical and plumbing work will continue throughout the sub-cellar and ground floor.  Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue at the sub-cellar and cellar levels. Installation of the hoist pad on Delancey Street will continue along with backfill operations.  Work will continue into Saturday, April 1st.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brickwork and waterproofing of the exterior walls up to the roof at “tower” and bulkhead completion, beginning work on the Grand Street side (hanging Lintels). Carpentry work includes hung ceiling framing from 11th-15th floor, sheet rocking from 8th-10th floors, lobby fit out, and fit out of cellar retail space ongoing. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues on floors 3,7,11,12-15. Sub-frame and window installation from 6th-15th floors is ongoing. Elevator installation work continues for retail, freight, and passenger elevators.  General construction work will occur on Saturday, April 1st  from 9am to 5pm.
 Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork, wash-down, and scaffold removal on the east elevation. Window installation will continue on the 8th and 9th floors. Interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from the cellar to the 14th floor. Roofing work will continue on the 4th & 5th terraces.  ConEd will continue vault work on Broome Street sidewalks within the site fence.  Work will continue on Saturday, April 1st  from 9am to 5pm.
