Weekly Construction Updates: Mar 6th-11th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will have the crane returning on Essex Street throughout the week. A concrete pour for multiple floors of the steel structure will occur on Saturday, March 4th; the 13th floor is anticipated for Wednesday, March 8th. On March 4th and 6th there will be a crane in operation on Broome Street. Flag persons will be directing traffic and Pedestrian Guards will be on site at crosswalks during all crane, concrete operations and deliveries.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel through the ground floor and level 4.  Steel deliveries will occur on Monday, March 6th, Wednesday, March 8th and Friday, March 10th. Concrete deck and form work on the ground floor and mezzanine level will continue.  A concrete deck pour for the first floor is scheduled for Monday, March 6th,  and Friday, March 10th.  Spray fireproofing is scheduled to begin at the cellar level on Monday, March 6th.  Mechanical, electrical and plumbing will continue installation of perspective work in the sub-cellar through ground floor.  Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue in the sub-cellar.  Installation of the hoist pad on Delancey street will begin on Monday, March 6th along with backfill operations on Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8th.  Steel erection and concrete work will take place on Saturday, March 11th.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of exterior walls up to the roof at tower and bulkhead completion, beginning with work on the Grand Street side. Carpentry work includes hung ceiling framing at from 11th-15th floor and sheet rocking from 8th-10th floors, and fit out of the cellar retail space. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from floors 3-15. Sub-frame and window installation from 3rd-7th floors is ongoing. Elevator installation work continues for retail, freight, and passenger elevators.  General construction work will occur on Saturday, March 11th  from 9am to 5pm. Street connection work will take place on Grand Street occupying one westbound traffic lane. Flag persons will direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork, wash-down, and scaffold removal on the east elevation. Window installation will continue on the 11th and 12th floor. Interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from the cellar to the 14th floor. Work will continue on Saturday, March 11th from 9am to 5pm.
