Weekly Construction Updates: Mar 13-18th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
At Site 1 the crane will be operating on Essex Street mid-week. The crane on Broome Street will be running Monday, March 13th, Wednesday, March 15th and Thursday, March 16th. A concrete pour for the 14th floor is anticipated on Tuesday, March 14th. Work will continue on Saturday, March 18th. Flag persons will be directing pedestrians and Vehicles as needed.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
 Site 2 will continue installing structural steel through the ground floor and level 4.  Steel deliveries will occur on Monday, March 13th, Wednesday, March 15th and Friday, March 17th. Concrete deck and form work on the mezzanine level and 2nd floor will continue.  A concrete deck pour for the mezzanine level is scheduled for Thursday, March 16th.  Spray fireproofing will continue in the cellar level and the mechanical, electrical and plumbing will continue installation of perspective work in the sub-cellar through the ground floor.  Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue at the sub-cellar and cellar levels.   Installation of the hoist pad on Delancey Street will continue along with backfill operations.   Steel erection and concrete work will take place on Saturday, March 18th.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of exterior walls up to the roof at “tower” and bulkhead completion, beginning work on the Grand Street side. Carpentry work includes hung ceiling framing at from 11th-15th floor, sheet rocking from 8th-10th floors, and fit out of cellar retail space. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from floors 3-15. Sub-frame and window installation from 3rd-10th floors is ongoing. Elevator installation work continues for retail, freight, and passenger elevators.  General construction work will occur on Saturday, March 18th  from 9am to 5pm. Street connection work will take place on Grand Street occupying one westbound traffic lane. Flag persons will direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork, wash-down, and scaffold removal on the east elevation. Window installation will continue on the 10th and 11th floor. Interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from the cellar to the 14th floor. ConEd will commence vault work on Broome Street sidewalks within our fenced in area and should not affect pedestrian or vehicle traffic.  Work will continue on Saturday, March 18th from 9am to 5pm.
