Weekly Construction Updates: Jan 30th-Feb 4th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will be pouring concrete on Wednesday, February 1st. Concrete trucks will be staged on Broome Street. A crane will be on Essex Street all week. Curtainwall deliveries will occur throughout the week on Broome Street. Flag persons will be placed on Essex and Broome Street directing traffic and pedestrians. Work will continue on Saturday, February 4th.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel through the cellar and level 3.   Steel deliveries will occur on Tuesday, January 31st and/or Friday, February 3rd. Concrete deck and form work on the ground floor will continue along with the core tower from level 5 to 7. There is a concrete pour for the core level 5 to 6 anticipated on Thursday, February 2nd.  Mechanical, electrical and plumbing will continue installation of perspective work in the sub cellar through the ground floor. Steel erection and concrete work will take place on Saturday, February 4th.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)

The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of exterior walls up to the 12th floor, interior metal wall framing installation up to 15th floor, setting of door frames, and hung ceiling installation at 6th floor. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from floors 3-15. Work may occur on Saturday, February 4th from 9am to 5pm.

Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork on the 8th  floor east elevation and 2nd floor north elevation. Brick wash-down and scaffold removal will begin at the north, south, and west elevations of the residential tower. Interior framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continue from the cellar to the 14th floor. Work will continue on Saturday, February 4th from 9am to 5pm.
