Weekly Construction Updates: Jan 2nd-7th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)

Superstructure work continues at Site 1.  A partial road closure of Essex Street between Broome and Delancey is expected to remove a crane from the site beginning at 10pm on Wednesday, January 4th through 6am on Thursday, January 5th.  A concrete pour for the 6th floor is anticipated to occur on Thursday, January 5th.  Flag persons will be present to direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

 Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel through the cellar and level 1M and waterproofing.  Steel deliveries will occur throughout the next week. Concrete deck work on the ground level will begin on Monday, January 2nd and continue throughout the week. Steel erection and deck work will take place on Saturday, January 7th.
 Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)

The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of exterior walls up to the 10th floor, interior metal wall framing installation up to 15th floor, setting of door frames, and hung ceiling installation ongoing at the 5th floor. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from floors 3-15. No work is anticipated on Monday, January 2nd.

 Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)

The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork on the 12th and13th floor and window installation on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. Interior framing and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work continue from the cellar to the 14th floor. Work will continue on Monday, January 2nd from 7am to 3:30pm and Saturday, January 7th from 9am to 5pm.
