Weekly Construction Updates: Jan 23rd-28th
Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will be pouring the 8th floor on Thursday, January 26th. Concrete pumps and trucks will be staged on Broome Street. Window deliveries will occur on Monday, January 23rd and Wednesday, January 25th along with miscellaneous deliveries throughout the week. A crane is located on Essex Street. Flag persons will be directing vehicles and pedestrians as needed.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel through the cellar and level 3 and waterproofing. Steel deliveries will occur on Tuesday, January 24th and/or Friday, January 27th . Concrete deck and form work on the ground floor has begun and will to continue throughout the week. Installation of forms, rebar and concrete will also begin in the core at level 5. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing will continue installation of perspective work in the sub cellar through ground floor. Steel erection and concrete work will take place on Saturday, January 28th.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of exterior walls up to the 12th floor, interior metal wall framing installation up to 15th floor, setting of door frames, and hung ceiling installation at 5th floor. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from floors 3-15. Work may occur on Saturday, January 28th from 9am to 5pm.
Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork on the 14th floor and roof parapet . Interior framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continue from the cellar to the 14th floor. Work will continue on Saturday, January 28th from 9am to 5pm.
