Weekly Construction Updates: Feb 6th-11th
Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Site 1 will be pouring concrete on Monday, February 6th. Concrete trucks will be staged on Broome Street. A crane will be on Essex Street all week. Curtainwall deliveries will occur throughout the week on Broome Street. Flag persons will be placed on Essex and Broome Street directing traffic and pedestrians. Work will continue on Saturday, February 11th.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel through the cellar and level 3. Steel deliveries will occur on Tuesday, February 6th and/or Friday, February 10th. Concrete deck and form work on the ground floor will continue along with the core tower from level 5 to 7. There is a concrete pour for the core level 5 to 6 anticipated on Monday, February 6th and Thursday, February 9th. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing will continue installation of perspective work in the sub-cellar through ground floor. Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue in the sub-cellar. Steel erection and concrete work will take place on Saturday, February 11th.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of exterior walls up to the 13th floor, interior metal wall framing installation up to 15th floor, setting of door frames, and hung ceiling installation at the 6th floor. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from floors 3-15. Work may occur on Saturday, February 11th from 9am to 5pm.
Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork on the 9th floor east elevation. Brick wash-down and scaffold removal will continue at the north, south, and west elevations of the residential tower. Interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continue from the cellar to the 14th floor. Work will continue on Saturday, February 11th from 9am to 5pm.
