Weekly Construction Updates: Dec 19-24th

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)

Superstructure work continues at Site 1. On Tuesday, December 20th a crane will be erected on Essex Street. Crane operations will occur from 10 pm to 6 am Wednesday morning.  Traffic will remain flowing in both directions, but limited to one lane. Flag persons will be present to direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic. On Thursday, December 22nd the 5th-floor deck is scheduled to be poured. No work is anticipated for the weekend of the 23rd.

 Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)

Site 2 will continue installing structural steel through the cellar and level 1M and waterproofing.  Steel deliveries will occur on Monday, December 19th and throughout the week. There are no anticipated concrete pours until further notice.  Steel erection may occur on Saturday, December 24th from 8 am to 5 pm.

 Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)

The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work and waterproofing of exterior walls up to the 9th floor, interior metal wall framing installation up to 15th floor, setting of door frames, and hung ceiling installation ongoing at the 8th floor. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from floors 3-15. No work is anticipated on December 24th and Monday, December 26th.

 Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)

The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes brickwork on the 10th & 11th floor and window installation on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. Interior framing and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work continue from the cellar to the 14th floor. There will be no work on Saturday, December 24th and Monday, December 26th.
