Weekly Construction Updates: April 17th-22nd

Site 1 (242 Broome Street)
Excavation for the ConEd vaults for Site 1 will continue on Broome Street. Deliveries to the site will occur throughout the week. Flagmen and pedestrian crossing guards will be provided. Currently, no crane or concrete operations are scheduled. No weekend work is anticipated.
Site 2 (115 Delancey Street)
Site 2 will continue installing structural steel at the 5th and 6th floors.  Steel deliveries will occur throughout the week sporadically. Concrete pours are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, April 19th and Thursday, April 20th.  Spray fireproofing will begin at ground level.  Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work will continue throughout the sub-cellar and ground floor. Installation of masonry block and door frames will continue at the cellar and ground floor. Installation of the hoist on Delancey Street will continue along with backfill operations.  Work will continue into Saturday, April 22nd.   Service connections to the building on Broome Street will begin one day during the week, to be determined.
Site 5 (145 Clinton Street)
The upcoming week’s work at Site 5 includes façade brick work, hanging of lintels, and waterproofing of the exterior walls on Grand Street side. Carpentry work includes hung ceiling framing from 11th-15th floor, sheet rocking from 12th-14th floors, lobby fit out, and fit out of cellar retail space ongoing. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues on floors 3,7,11 and 15. Gypcrete pouring on 7th-9th floors. Sub-frame and window installation from 10th-15th floors is ongoing. Elevator installation work continues for retail, freight, and passenger elevators.  General construction work will occur on Saturday, April 22nd from 9am to 5pm.
 Site 6 (175 Delancey Street)
The coming week’s activity at Site 6 includes window installation on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th  floors. Interior framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continues from the cellar to the 14th floor. Roofing work will continue on the 4th and 5th terraces.  ConEd will continue vault work on Broome Street sidewalks within the site fence.  Work will continue on Saturday, April 22nd from 9am to 5pm.
